Louisiana Tech University seeks a dynamic and creative professional interested in leading and directing the office of undergraduate admissions. With applications and admitted student numbers increasing, this is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and accomplished professional to join a progressive enrollment management team.
The successful candidate must have superior communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills; progressive supervisory experience in recruiting, admissions, or a related field; expertise in facilitating organizational development and change; competency for analyzing recruitment-related data and assessing programming activities as part of a strategic enrollment planning initiative; an understanding of the innovative uses of technology in the recruitment process; and experience working with diverse populations.
The successful candidate will also have the ability to serve as an articulate spokesperson for the mission and values of the institution; be available for periodic travel and some night and weekend hours; experience managing prospective student and applicant service relations and communications; and a proven ability to navigate various software programs.
A proven track record of success in recruitment and a minimum of ten years of progressively
responsible experience in the administration of an admissions or related workforce
are required. An earned bachelor’s degree is required/master’s degree preferred. The
candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
Successful performance in an on-campus interview and an admissions presentation focusing on the candidate’s philosophy for meeting enrollment goals while maintaining a positive and cohesive work environment are required.
