TITLE: Director, International Student and Scholar Services
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in education, administration, or related field; minimum 5 years experience working in the field of international education; experience working with immigration regulations; proven experience working with international student recruitment and marketing; availability for after office hours activities
RESPONSIBILITIES: Advise and assist individual students with immigration questions and applications. Manage student records in compliance with Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service guidelines. Create and coordinate marketing and recruitment efforts of international students to Louisiana Tech University. Create and assist with intercultural programming. Supervise processing of undergraduate international admission applications. Manage and supervise operation of everyday office procedures and supervise ISSS staff. Perform other duties as a member of the Division of Student Affairs as assigned by the Dean of Student Engagement and Undergraduate Recruiting.
