Position: Faculty member of Management Department in the College of Business

Rank: Assistant/Associate Professor

Assignment: Louisiana Tech University seeks innovative and engaging candidates with demonstrated potential for publishing in top-tier journals, excellence in teaching, and enthusiastic service to the College, University, and profession. The person who fills this tenure-track position is expected to conduct scholarly research leading to publication in top-level journals, engage and lead doctoral students, collaborate with other faculty on research projects, and build the reputation of the department. Teaching responsibilities for this position include classes at the undergraduate, Masters, and Doctoral levels in the areas of Human Resource Management, Leadership, Organizational Behavior, and Organizational Management.  The Department of Management offers undergraduate concentrations in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Entrepreneurship, and Supply Chain Management.

Position status: Subject to final budgetary approval, effective July 2017.

Qualifications:  PhD or DBA in management from an AACSB International accredited program with an emphasis in Human Resource Management and/or Organizational Behavior. Proven research productivity is required. 

Louisiana Tech: Louisiana Tech University is a mid-sized (approximately 12,500 students), Tier 1 nationally ranked university that is located on the I-20 corridor. The University is located in Ruston, a city with a population of 22,000, which is 30 miles west of Monroe/West Monroe (pop. 65,000) and 60 miles east of Shreveport (pop. 200,000). Ruston, Louisiana is a pleasant community offering excellent family living conditions, quality schools, and medical facilities. The College of Business is accredited by AACSB International at the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral levels. The College of Business in housed in a 4-year-old facility with a new 20,000 square foot wing opening in Fall 2017.
