Description: Louisiana Tech University is a national Cyber Education and Training leader growing America’s next generation workforce needed to defend against the ever evolving world of cyber threats. The Louisiana Tech Research Institute (LTRI) Director of Cyber Education and Training (CET) will lead Louisiana Tech’s Cyber Education and Training efforts in Bossier City, Louisiana and the surrounding area. Working with Louisiana Tech faculty and staff, the CET Director will deliver world-class cyber education and training and develop a predominantly extramurally funded cyber education and training research program supporting university, corporate, government, and other agency partners.
Qualifications: Graduate degree (M.S./Ph.D.) in a cyber-related area required; 3+ years curriculum development experience highly desired. Due to the nature of this position, only U.S. Citizens will be considered. An active SECRET security clearance is required. An active TOP SECRET security clearance is highly desired.
Examples of Work: Duties to include, but not limited to:
• Develop and deliver cutting-edge cyber education and training
• Lead program and curriculum development to include existing academic material integration
• Develop and maintain in-person and online education and training infrastructure
• Measure student success at the course and program level
• Develop, measure, and report on education and training offerings through assessment mechanisms which meet academic credit granting standards
• Execute student cyber exercises and competitions
• Develop externally funded cyber-related education and training research program
