Integrated STEM Education Research Center (ISERC)
The Integrated STEM Education Research Center (ISERC) at Louisiana Tech University invites applications for top caliber researchers and teachers conducting engineering and science education research. All professional ranks (Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor), STEM disciplinary backgrounds, and research specialties, including discipline-based education research, will be considered. ISERC is committed to the development and study of innovative, multidisciplinary STEM education practices. ISERC is primarily housed in the College of Engineering and Science whose vision is to be a world leader in integrating engineering and science in education and research. The College is experiencing significant growth and is undertaking an aggressive faculty recruiting campaign. By the start of the appointment, applicants must have earned a doctorate in Engineering Education, a STEM discipline housed in the College, or a related field.
Successful candidates are expected to actively participate in ISERC research efforts;
initiate, build and sustain an externally funded research program; and supervise graduate
students. Candidates with excellent communication skills interested in engaging students
