Louisiana Tech University is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to serve as Travel Coordinator for the Office of the Comptroller. This position is responsible for the review and verification of all travel-related expenditures for University faculty, staff, and other travelers, including reimbursements, purchasing and travel card transactions.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree is required. Candidates should have one to three years of accounting, administrative, or related experience in a fast-paced business environment. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a high level of skill and knowledge of Microsoft Excel and have worked with computerized accounting systems. Applicant must be able to comprehend and explain state and university policies, meet deadlines, work independently, and prioritize work projects. Good interpersonal skills are needed along with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and to work as a member of a team. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications.
