POSITION: Operating Engineer-Cogeneration
DEPARTMENT: Power Plant

Minimum Qualifications: Any of the following will qualify:
- Two years of experience in the operation or maintenance of a high voltage power generation facility, or
- Three years of experience in the operation, repair and/or maintenance of chemical, pulp and paper, or oil or gas processing facilities, or
- Four years of experience in the operation, repair and/or maintenance of large commercial or industrial type stationary engines or mechanical equipment such as air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, pumping, generating or closely related systems
Substitutions (For Option 3 Only) Full-time training in commercial air conditioning, refrigeration or diesel mechanics may be substituted for a maximum of two years of the required experience on a month for month basis.
Note (For Option Only) Incidental duties in operating or maintaining one’s own heating, air conditioning or related equipment will not be considered for this vacancy.
